1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Knowledge Quest (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Children under 13 may only use the Service through a parent or guardian's account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date.
You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts.

3Permitted Use

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use only. You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or collect data from the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.

4Intellectual Property

All content, games, graphics, code, and materials on the Service are owned by or licensed to Knowledge Quest and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

5User Content

If you submit any content to the Service (such as feedback or support messages), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content to improve and operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

6Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.

7Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knowledge Quest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of $50 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
